Mechanical Scribbles
A generative grid of scribbles
Mechanical Scribbles is a generative artwork made with Processing. It shows a grid of scribbles that are randomly generated. This artwork was heavily inspired by Georg Nees' pioneering work in computer art.
Possible variations on this artwork include: shapes (which can be straight or curved, open or closed, thin or thick etc), colors, number of lines per shape, number of lines per column/row
The idea for the name "Mechanical Scribbles" came to me when I attended Tyler Hobbs' exhibition "Mechanical Hand" at Unit London.
Fun fact: I use this artwork as my lock screen
